About Us
Kettlewell Primary School is set in the heart of the Dales National Park, It is a small school with a large family atmosphere.
At present there are 29 children on roll, 19 KS2 and 10 KS1. They are taught in mixed aged classes but each Key Stage has their own classroom. The KS1 classroom which was only built in March 2002 has been recognised as an example of Very Good Practice with superb provision for a mixed age class and is recommended for visit by the LEA Early Years Advisors.
We have 2 full time teachers and a part time support teacher in KS2. There are also 5 part time teaching assistants working in both KS1 and KS2.
The Administrator/Bursar works 5 days a week.
